PEPTIC ULCER PERITONITIS

This a condition where an ulcer in the stomach or first part of the intestine bursts open into the abdomen, and all the contents of the stomach spill outside.
This is a serious life-threatening condition and needs immediate surgery.
Traditionally, the treatment has been to cut open the abdomen (tummy) and repair the hole.
But with our expert team, we can do this surgery with a laparoscope through a keyhole.
This leads to quicker recovery, less pain, and quicker discharge from the hospital.

Treatment for peptic ulcer peritonitis

It is necessary to stop the underlying cause of your ulcer. If a patient faces complications such as a perforated ulcer or bleeding ulcer then they might need some additional treatments, like endoscopy, which can treat most of these complications.
